From Marina's Blog: "I had a meeting with two curators of the Artful Henna group exhibition which I am taking part in this August in Seattle, USA. I will make one tattooed, porcelain doll for sale, and will provide more details later down the road. Anyway, they came down to Vancouver to meet up for lunch and discuss the details of the show, and it turned out that both of these ladies were traditional henna artists themselves, and offered to put some henna on me! Naturally, I agreed."
Henna on Darcy
I had to tie Darcy down and make her submit to my hennaing her, but I think she might have liked what I did on her. The design is Moroccan inspired but with some twists and side streets. Photo by me with Darcy's camera. You can see her work on me here: www.flickr.com/photos/hennalounge/2322698640/in/set-72157...

swati bridal mehndi
This is the bridal henna I did for an Indian bride marrying an Afghani man; the henna party was a nice mix of both sides of the family plus friends from all over the world.
