Neat idea for maybe a small group. Number Recognition: Ziplock quilt game- put cards in each square and have children swat the answers with a flyswatter. Could be used for math, literacy, science, vocabulary, anything!
Math wall---"How Tall am I?" Flower Sprouts with the kids' names on the flowers. This would be great as a beginning and end of the year activity! I can just imagine how much the kids would giggle over their comparisons :-)
Flip TEN-Fun addition card game from Guided Math! Flip two cards over. If the sum of the two cards equals they keep the cards and replace the cards with two more from the deck. The game ends when there are no more matches.
Great activity for kids to practice telling time. The dice have either numbers or 15 minute increments on it. Kids roll the die, and then have to put the right time on the clock. Great center idea - make up a wksht to log rolls and clock image
