stage 1 - Frisia Coast Trail (FCT)

Stage 1 - Zwin creek to Rhine river. Starting point of the FCT. From estuary Sincfala (currently 't Zwin, BE) to where the Rhine (NL) splits into Waal and Lek and the early medieval emporium #Dorestat (currently Wijk bij Duurstede) was situated. Before reaching here you cross another bitch of a river, the Scheldt and enter Walcheren. Used to be filled with raiding Vikings and Frisians. But you come through park Biesbosch too and get a glimpse how delta landscapes once looked liked.
