Our favorite reclaimed wood: old mooring posts from the Rotterdam harbor, pulled out of the water and locally milled just a few miles from our workshop.
Mussels and barnacles live on these posts from the Rotterdam harbor while they are under the water. The posts stay in the water for over 50 years, giving the outside of the wood a gorgeous patina we use in our Houthaven Design products.
