Movies I Love to Watch Again and Again

A film my kids love as much as I do. It has everything - romance, adventure, comedy and whimsy!

The Princess Bride (1987)

can watch this over and over and over again. "As you wish" but it is "Inconceivable" that you can "Have fun storming the Castle" before you can even utter the line "Hello, My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die"

I watch this at least once a year. I like some of the stories better than others (Colin Frizzle must die!) but the good ones more than make up for the not-so-good and Bill Nighy alone could redeem all the rest.

Love Actually (2003)

Love Actually. Liam Neeson, Colin Firth and Alan Rickman in one movie. Even Hugh Grant is adorable in this one.

It's hard to tell where Austen leaves off and Thompson begins. Well done, indeed!

Sense and Sensibility (1995)

Sense & Sensibility - Emma Thompson, Kate Winsleet, Alan Rickman, hugh Grant - by Jane Austen- I completely adore

One of the best romantic comedies ever made - such a fantastic cast!

While You Were Sleeping (1995)

♥♥♥---"While You Were Sleeping"---Sandra Bullock & Bill Pullman.A Great Turn By the Always Wonderful Bullock In A Con That Does Not Involve Money Nor Blackmail. But Love.Great Little Film That Leaves A Heart Bursting With Joy.Love This Film!

A lovely film, especially Alan Rickman and Juliet Stevenson's duet of "Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore."

Truly Madly Deeply (1990)

A gentle gem of a film about redemption.

Greenfingers (2000)

Directed by Joel Hershman. With Clive Owen, Helen Mirren, David Kelly, Warren Clarke. A prison inmate with a green thumb goes on to compete in a national gardening competition. Based on a true story.

I watch Groundhog Day every year on February 2nd. It's a classic!

Groundhog Day is a 1993 American fantasy comedy film directed by Harold Ramis, starring Bill Murray, Andie MacDowell, and Chris Elliott. It was written by Ramis and Danny Rubin, based on a story by Rubin.

Stardust reminded me a lot of The Princess Bride. Loved Mark Strong as Septimus!

"Stardust" -- A young man has to find a fallen star in a magical land that borders his town. Stars Claire Danes and narrated by Ian McKellan. Also featured are Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert De Niro and Charlie Cox.
