Aalto house

In 1935, Aino and Alvar Aalto purchased a plot of land in Helsinki and began to design their home. The architect couple´s cosy and intimate residence and studio was completed in 1936. The house is divided into a workspace used by Alvar Aalto´s architectural firm and the couple´s private residence. (Alvar Aalto Museum)
