"Take Me Out the Ball Game!" - This was a birthday cake, I was inspired by some of the cakes on this site. The photo doesn't show it, but the sides looked like brick, I used the candy sprinkles for the cheering crowd! The back side of the stadium show the greats of the game. The cake board was covered with fondant and I used some of the baseball theme cutters for the design. The flavor was red velvet with cream cheese frosting and filling.

Baseball field cake. The sprinkle people were a pain...but it's cute.

The only credit I can take for the cake is designing it. I did not bake it! But I think it turned out very nice. The kids and the parents really liked it! I created the back board and score board on Publisher, all that we added to it (the birthday boy helped) were things that mean something to him, and things about him. The boards were printed and added to the cake. As you can see by my son's smiles, he was happy! Well, an image is worth 1000 words! Thanks for checking!
