Cards with washi tape simple

Japanese *washi* tape is made of *washi* paper, which makes it semi-transparent and gives it a smooth, unique feel. Easy to remove and reposition, it's often used for arts and crafts, and comes in a number of creative patterns and colors—making it great for homemade Christmas cards! I used a stamp from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, a flower punch and some washi tape. Scored lines and adhered tape in empty spaces. Thanks for taking a look!!

Super quick card to start off a class with a few friends who have never made cards before. Run 3 strips of tape across the card, add one tape across the embossed heart, layer onto card. I really love this weeks Less Is More challenge. The recipe is to use a count system of 3-2-1. In total, there should only be 6 things on the card. Now I've seen a few where the words are individually counted and others where it's counted as one under "sentiment".
