Hello there...a card for no particular challenge today (I know don't fall over in shock!). We're heading up to Pittsburgh this weekend for our niece, Erin's, confirmation. Of course, I had to make her a card to go with her gift. I'm her confirmation sponsor and am thrilled we can make it for this special occasion for her. Now...I did have a mishap on this card...check out the card below. I got all the way to taking the picture before I realized part of the sentiment was missing! So...off…

This past Saturday I crafted with a card ministry group that makes cards for their church. Each month there is a "theme" for the cards, ie: Christmas, Thinking of You, etc. This month they asked for 170 cards for their Confirmation Students. Several members create a design and bring supplies to make it. Then everyone chips in to stamp and assemble. Here's my card using the Inspired Events stamp set, which I brought supplies for 30 cards. Luckily I had purchased Stampin' Up!'s Inspired Events…

Thanks for taking a peek! Supplies Used: Stamp Set - Easter Dove Ink - Memento Paper - Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Crumb Cake Accessories - Big…

This is an updated version of my original cross card that I designed two years ago. Last week a customer wanted to create my original cross card, but the punch that I used, had since retired. The good news is that the currently available Classic Label Punch works beautifully to create a similar cross and […]

I just wanted to share the Confirmation card that I make for our new confirmands every year. I love the retired Inspired Events stamp set, perfect for all kinds of religious events! I place all of the stamps on my retired Stamparatus, ink up with Versamark Ink, add the gold embossing powder, and the stamping outside is all done in one stamping! Which is awesome when you need to make 12 cards! (Actually a blessing!) The cross is red foil, from another retired die set.
