We celebrated Great British Pea week this week so ended the week getting messy with this tray. I used green food dye in water to mix into the cornflour and then spread a bag of peas in and around it. The children loved this tray, they used the tweezers to pick up peas, filled the pots with their pea soup, used the spoons and lollypop sticks to stir it all up and then just used their hands to push through it all. One of child told me how relaxed it made them feel :)
