Hey, y'all! Welcome to another installment of my Back to Art Teacherin' series! an image of pop art landscapes with different colors and patterns on it, including mountains

The inspiration for this lesson is the beautiful Sonoran desert where I live in Tucson, Arizona. Pop art landscapes are fun for kids to paint because they are full of colors and patterns and encourage children to use their imaginations! When you teach your students about landscapes, you’ll introduce them to the main parts of a landscape. Those are foreground, middleground, and background. This lesson is also a video. Children can follow along with opportunities to pause along the way.
