Gizmag recently took a journey through the impressive World Expo 2015, which opened in Milan last month and runs until the end of October. The Expo features 145 participating countries, 53 of which have their own architecturally designed Pavilion.

I found these in an album of my mothers when we were clearing up her stuff. I think they were taken commercially for sale to visitors. I suspect the images were taken during the Italian occupation of Abysinnia as the album cover is in Italian these must date from the mid 1940s-my mum was there in 1947 He is Beni-Amer from Eritrea

On the theme of food, #2, another childhood favorite - alphabet soup. Or in this case, alphabet pasta. It seems like quite a contradiction though - while your parent's tell you "Don't play with your food!" they give you food that was clearly made to be played with... Right alongside Jello, Oreo, and watermelon for the foods-that-must-be-played-with list of champions.
