a card with a black cat sitting on top of a pumpkin

Had seen this card but can not find the maker but I thank her for sharing her Halloween card for inspiration! Card stock base is #110 weight black card stock from Mikes, Pumpkin Pie for the card front, and white/GP for stamped piece. Used the SU Timeless Texture stamp set for the card front. New Cat punch from SU was used. Wanted the cat to face the opposite way so flipped the punch over and punched out the cat using black flocked card stock. Pumpkin is three ovals stacked and I added a stem…

a close up of a card with a bat on the front and an orange stripe background

Hello, I made this using this weeks Freshly Made Sketch FMS54, and for the Kards for Kids Halloween drive! The sketch made this pretty easy, and I finally got to play with some punches! The bat is made with the Owl punch, and for his wings I used the medium oval punch and a circle punch to curve the end. I sponged the edges with with craft ink. His mouth was drawn with a white Sharpie poster-paint pen. The branches were made from the 2-step bird punch. TFL, Laurie…

a black cat sitting on top of a window sill in front of a full moon

I used a cloud template, going gray ink and a sponge to make the sky. Used lovely as a tree on the background. Sponged the edges of the moon with marigold morning. The top panel was popped up with foam tape as was the window. The little ghosts were cut out and glittered. Cat was from PTI and was cut out popped up and covered with crystal lacquer. Finished off the dots with a signo gel pen. Of course all my layering was done with my can't do without perfect layer rulers :) Thanks for looking!

a black and white halloween card with a house in the background, bats flying over it

Hi, Its Lisa back this week with a new and easy card to make for Halloween! I used only 2 pieces of plain cardstock too. I wanted to make something for this week's challenge "Things With Wings", I thought, why not bats! LOL I have seen a few tombstone shaped cards out there and I thought again...you don't need a special diecutting machine. All you need is a large circle diecut from Cheery Lynn Designs. I used the largest of the "Silver Stackers" I placed just part of the diecut on top of my…

The hat, spider and sentiment are stamped with black ink on cream colored cardstock. I added a little glittery spider web for the spider to hang from. The card base is marigold cardstock. The inside, which is blank, has a cream colored panel adhered to it for easier writing. This card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and comes with a white envelope.
