Decided to upload the video to share with you all too. How to soften ti leaves: 1. Boil water and submerge leaves for less than a minute 2. Microwave with a damp paper towel in 15-30 second intervals 3. Lei & Floral Designs 🌺 by Brittanie C on Instagram: "Happy Aloha Friday!! 🌺🌿 My #1 tip to keep lei flat is to utilize a flat surface ☺️ Sometimes when we make lei, we tend to lift our hands up as we wrap. When we do this, the weight of the flowers causes the lei to naturally curl over our hand. This makes it easier for the lei to twist side to side, and harder for us to see the beginning of the lei. To have my lei lay flat, I like to use a flat surface like a table. I am able to see the beginning of the lei just as much as the part I am working on. This video clip shows a pretty good angle of how I like to rest my hand against the table. I don’t move it too much from this spot throughout making the entire lei.
