After driving down this gravel road filled with potholes we came across this beautiful white church with the red door. The road was stressful to drive down - 39 kilometers of dodging potholes - guess we should have listened to the GPS, the shortest distance on the map isn't always the shortest driving time.

The little Church of God chapel near Romance, WV, in Jackson County, seemed perfectly suited to the autumn backdrop.

Somewhere in either Connecticut or Massachusetts. We pulled off the road and I took this from inside the car since it was raining. The wood detail was beautifully carved.
