So much new snow in the last week! This is on Simic Trail on Grouse, which goes up next to the Paper Trail ski run (unless they've renamed it). It was tough going without snowshoes, and shortly after this picture was taken I sunk into a hole up to my chest, so I ventured over to the well packed down BCMC trail.

I come to Kentucky and we get a fantastic snow storm. Inches in only a few hours! It was a beautiful night but we were without power for 3 days. Thankfully the parents' water heater was run by natural gas, cause otherwise I would have stunk AND been freezing my ass off. Took this in downtown Middlesboro on my way home from spending the night with my friend Amy. The roads were clear pretty quickly but having electric poles snapping creates a bit of a hiccup!
