My husband really wanted a swing for us to use while the kids ran outside. So, I caved and told him to go for it! He’s a contractor, so he definitely has a lot of experience to whip up something like this in a day! He went to a local lawn care store and bought the actual swing. They can also be ordered online. They usually run around $200. Supplies:
(2) 6×6×12 pressure treated post
(1) 6×6×8 pressure treated post
(2) L brackets
(10) 4 inch lag bolts
(2) 8 inch lag bolts
(2) swing chairs (supplies included)
(2) 16 inch wide × 48 inch long sono tubes
(1) bag of 1/2" gravel
(6) bags of cement
(1) post hole digger
(6) 2×3×8 framing wood for supports
(1) trowel

Now a quick explanation of the steps.
