Karen Wicks on Instagram: "Printing at home using a pasta press- a quick ‘fix’ if you prefer to run the print sandwich through horizontally. There are other methods online too, and you can also just use the pasta press upright as well, you just need to ‘catch’ the print as it comes through.

A good way to play with printmaking techniques if you do not have a craft press or etching press already 💡

So even though the finished print may never make it into one of my exhibitions, it gave me some exciting ideas of how to push future prints forward. I started carving 31 erasers in 31 days, and recording them in this little tiny sketchbook. The bug got me, though, and I ended up carving 100! Since then I have carved over 130 or more, made a giant pink eraser prop out of foam, carved erasers into wax seal presses, made a mural of these artworks, and carved jumbo erasers!
