a purple and green patchwork quilt with the words friends are like quilts, a patchwork of warmth & comfort

This is the quilted card adapted to an A2 size card. I ran the quilt through the Cuttlebug/damask folder and added a sentiment that I've had around for awhile.

a blue and white quilted star on top of a table

Hi guys, today I am showcasing my quilt card using the Damask Motifs. There is another colour way that I did this card in and I will post it at the end of the tutorial for you. Start with this die template which is from the new Damask Motifs from Spellbinders. Cut 16 of these pieces, 8 from a neutral colour (I'm using white) and 4 from a light tone and 4 from a dark tone colour. You can cut these quicker if you do two at a time. There is no need to emboss these so it will save a bit of time…

a close up of a card with the words love you on it and a heart

Hey, it's time for another Valentine! And, guess what! For a change, I made a paper quilted card! Yeah, I know. I never do that, do I? Anyway, I thought a loving Valentine quilt would be cute and cozy. Not a really tough design, but I do like how it turned out. I used the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack on page 17 of the Occasions Catalog for my quilt strips. The strips are 1/4" wide. And the center square is made with the 3/4" Square Punch. The finished card doesn't have a whole…

a card that has been made with the stampin'up sab by anette e

This is a quilt card I made back in January at my up line's (Chris Smith) home. I added the embossed flower using the Daydream Medallions stamp set along with the SAB stamp set Madison Avenue. These two stamp sets work well together. The flower petals were made with the Floral Frames Framelits die. I will probably store these two sets together. : ) Recipe: Daydream Medallions, Madison Avenue (SAB) and Vintage Verses (SAB) stamp sets; Sycamore Street DSP (SAB), Island Indigo and Tangerine…

four cards with different designs on them

I wanted to make a set of cards to include with my Mum's birthday present so pulled out one of the dies from WPlus9's Quilt Cuts 2 set. Die (WPlus9) - Quilt Cuts 2, Stamps (Hero Arts) - Dolls, Everyday Sayings and It's Your Day, Paper (Studio Calico) - Snippets Having dabbled in quilting in the past, I just LOVE this set and am looking forward to making lots more blocks in the future, using fabrics as well as paper. It will be a perfect way of using up some of my mountain of scraps. Die…

a close up of a card on a doily with a pink rose and ribbon

Today's Free 4 All challenge was to color block on our project. I decided to create a little paper quilt with some of my Stella & Rose scraps from My Mind's Eye. After laying them all out and adhering them to my cardstock base, I paper pierced around every single square. I then used an archival pen to make a faux zig zag stitch around the squares. I used several distress inks to ink up the edges of all of the papers. I used a nestie to die cut the frame and the sentiment is from Unity…
