I spent a day with some yarn and some paint to make this solid wood brown and black (mane and tail were black) rocking horse purchased at a local charity auction event white and gray to match the nursery! I think it was more than worth the effort! Ace Hardware just started carrying a line of chalk paints for crafting that is awesome! I began with a base of white and then used the dark "antiquing" to add some vintage appeal.
