Before restoring your hardwood floors, you will need to remove your baseboards. We find that the best way to do this is to run a utility knife on the top of the baseboard and then use a small crow bar to pull the baseboard away from the wall. We, obviously, did this while our laminate floors were still in. Be sure to label the back of your baseboards so they are easy to reinstall later!
