When Inela Nogic won "Miss Sarajevo" in 1993 she unfurled a banner against the Siege of Sarajevo. Soon after that the U2 wrote a song titled "Miss Sarajevo", inspired by that 17-year-old brave girl who bacame the symbol of resistance against war. Finally Bono provided the journalist Bill Carterthe funds to film a documentary based on Sarajevo resistance.
