Gesture drawing practice can be fundamental to mastering figure drawing. But often it leaves us tied up in knots. Here are some tips to make it easier.

Today, we're going to use Notebook to edit digital stick figures. By the end of the lesson, we will have practiced some cool stuff that you were not able to do at the beginning of the year: Isolating and viewing an image online; Copying and pasting an image from the internet into SMART Notebook; Editing an image using tool software; Saving a new file into a personal folder; and Selecting an appropriate networked printer to create a hardcopy. The young artist Vilija Vitkute discovered her self as a true artist through bodypainting in her 20s when she first created a tribal, nature people related series called Other Species which changed her life completely. She started these series in Sweden, Dalarna a little village in woods called Ulvshyttan. She first painted her self, then her friends and neighbors which led to a project to come true, after all, success in an art career, media attention, and wonderful opportunities.
