These are the final orthographic views of Rocket Racoon Warbird (Guardians of the Galaxy). This hi-res images are the result of weeks of work during the preproduction of the film in 2013. These images are really challenging as many parts of them are made in 2D with no 3D support. The Warbird is a chunkier spaceship if we compare it with The Milano, less sleek. Here a a few of many concepts I did in regards to the exterior visuals for the shapes of the Milano spaceship. In early 2017 I started up with some 3d VR exploration for the shape designs and interior that was very interesting and fun to work on. The final look that ended up in game was very much inspired from what I ended up proposing in those designs. Those designs were mostly inspired from Gundam parts, mixed with the constraint to keep some of the dynamic shape of the original ship…
