Hello everyone! I'm absolutely in love with this Spirelli or Dutch String Art that I've just tried for the first time a few days ago. The wreath is done with the spirelli technique. I used a punch and the cherry cobbler twine. Added a few more leaf dies and punches and a little bling. TFL!

I wanted to make a Christmas card from non-traditional colors, so I chose some card stock that is purple on one side and pink on the other. Just before I left on vacation, a blog reader contacted me to see if I had a file for an adjustable "32 bump" scalloped circle. I have done several adjustable scalloped circles but none with that exact number of "bumps." She wanted it to do some Spirelli designs. Spirelli designs are done by winding thread around a shape in a pattern that forms interesting designs on top of the shape. I've been in an embroidery and Spirelli mood lately. The embroidery stuff went off to others, the spirelli is still here. Each disk has two spacings of Spirelli. Now my hands and neck aren't too happy about all of this, but that's just the hazard of the craft. My chiropractor will get the kinks out this Friday. In actuality, Spirelli isn't difficult one you get it started. It's fun to see the end results.
