Today's card features Stampin' Up Healing Hugs stamp set. I started with an Old Olive card base folded in half. I stamped images from Stampin' Up Forever Fern stamp set with Old Olive and Calypso Corral ink. I stamped the sentiment with Calypso Corral. I dry embossed a piece of Very Vanilla with Stampin' Up Tasteful Textures embossing folder. I embellished the card front with Stampin' Up Gilded Gems. The husband of one of my friends fell and broke his leg last week - right above where he had a knee replaced (I don't now how long ago). So I made him a get well card, because that's all I can do. His surgery was yesterday and involved rods and screws. I can't even imagine how much that must hurt. I was definitely challenged in adding dessert to Mary's pretty color challenge this week. Her colors choices are Highland Heather + Gorgeous Grape + Mint Macaron with Winter for dessert.
