김홍도의 송하맹호도를 보면 상식적으로 알던 호랑이와 다르게 생겼다. 그림책이나 백과사전 테레비의 다큐멘터리 프로그램을 통해서 어릴 때부터 보아오던 호랑이는 흰 갈기가 풍성하고 노란, 얼굴이 큰 호랑이다. 그래서 어떤 사람은 고양이를 보고 그렸다는 둥 해설에 조차 그렇게 써있는 것을 본 적이 있다 서령필방에서 호랑이 사진이 있는 책을 구입해서 보니! 김홍도의 송하맹호도 호랑이와 비슷한 호랑이들 이었다 물론 중국의 동물원에 있는 호랑이일 것이다 나도 우리나라 호랑이를 본 적이 없고 굳이 비교해 본 적이 없으니 그 차이를 알 수 없었지만 이 책을 보고 이해가 갔다 그동안 내가 무지했다는 생각이 들었다 책의 호랑이 사진 핀터레스트의 호랑이 사진 서양 호랑이 * 개인적인 의견입니다 ^^
