Villa Savoye is a modernist villa in Poissy, on the outskirts of Paris, France. It was designed by the Swiss architects Le Corbusier and his cousin, Pierre Jeanneret and built between 1928 and 1931 using reinforced concrete.

A Swiss architect, designer, and artist, the man born as Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris was better known as Le Corbusier. He adopted the name as a rendition of his grandfather’s name, in the belief that any person could reinvent himself.
