The Weimaraner, or silver ghost as called by some, was bred as a hunting dog and many sportsmen still use them for hunting large game such as deer and bear. The Weimaraner breed comes from Germany. Weimaraners are excellent dogs that can work effectively both in the field and on the water. These large dogs can perform various functions, but they are also good at being companions. At the same time, Weimaraners are always ready to defend their home and behave distrustfully with strangers.

The Weimaraner breed of dogs has a difficult, but generally good character and is very loyal to its owner and family. However, there is also a downside to the coin. If the dog is left to itself, not to engage in its upbringing and socialization, the instincts that it carries in itself from nature will prevail. It's unavoidable.
