The American Flag represents the United States and is a symbol of inspiration for all Americans. Over the years the flag has changed in appearance as the country has grown, but it still stands for freedom and shows America to the world today. We demonstrate respect for the flag by learning its history, proper handling, and showing due respect to its colors.
