Put inside classroom closet door. Have a wish list ready for parent orientation. Write each item you need for the classroom on a paper cutout (e. apple cutouts on a “giving tree”) and encourage parents to pick one to donate to the classroom.
Make these with chalk board paint and then put them up in my classroom so I can write the amazing stuff my children say all day long in them. You could also write classroom rules or welcome messages, instructions, messages to parents, focus wall language.
