Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam has some of the best buildings for perspective drawing, in my opinion. When you walk around the city you notice some of the building tilting in toward the street. Stairs cases in Amsterdam are too narrow to move furniture in so a hoist & gable located at the top of the building is used to hoist furniture to the upper levels. My biggest regret is not spending time sketching out all the beautiful streets & canals...I feel it's time for a revisit soon.

The 85 m (279 ft) tall Westertoren is the tallest church tower in Amsterdam. Part of the Westerkerk ("western church"), it was designed in the Renaissance style by Hendrick de Keyser and is topped by a replica of the Imperial Crown of Austria of Maximilian I.
