Lovely Canal, Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, Midland, Ontario, Canada
I liked the canal running by rustic wooden buildings within Sainte-Marie among the Hurons in Midland, Ontario, Canada. This historical park was very well done. It rained hard but we were fortunate that the heavy rain stopped shortly afterwards.
Main Entrance Gate with Canoes, Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, Midland, Ontario, Canada
Sainte-Marie among the Hurons is another great historic site of Midland, Ontario, Canada and one of the main reasons why I wanted to visit Midland. Sainte-Marie among the Hurons is a reconstructed French Jesuit mission and reputed to be the first European Community in Ontario. This lovely historical park reconstructed the village with lovely wooden French style buildings and Ontario aboriginal architecture. The photo shows the entrance with First Nations canoes.

Mural, 30,000 Islands Boat Cruise, Georgian Bay, Midland, Ontario, Canada

Despite the gloomy sky, it did not rain until the last portion of the cruise. There was a huge mural depicting the Sainte-Marie among the Hurons at the Midland harbour.
