interesting idea: plant box and belt ... maybe several belts could be hooked together to be large enough to go around if using real leather belts (from thrift store) ... these "belts" look more like strap webbing and could be DIY made to size.  If you wanted to non-installed plant box and had a railing, this could work, like a porch / deck rail
