Modernist Still Life

In the 20th century, still life continued to be an integral part of many modernists' work. Although it would be hard to talk about abstract still life, many modernists not working with complete abstraction painted a whole lot of still life, in particular the Cubists. Photographic still life falls outside the scope of this board. It includes paintings only.
