Notre Dame University South Bend Indiana Jo Travels Around the U.S. Road Trips!
Road trips I've taken and interesting sights I've found all over the United States. The University of Notre Dame in South Bend Indiana
The Main Building // Campus Tour
The Notre Dame campus annually attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors who delight in a landscape of fresh colors for every season, ivy-covered walls on classic collegiate Gothic buildings, expansive quadrangles and some of the world’s most recognized campus landmarks – the Golden Dome, Touchdown Jesus, the Grotto of our Lady of Lourdes and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
The University of Notre Dame's Hesburgh Library
The University of Notre Dame's library opened on September 18, 1963 as the Memorial Library. It was named after Father Hesburgh in 1987; the mural, "The Word of Life," depicts Christ the Teacher and is informally known as "Touchdown Jesus."
