Put a class list (on cute paper, of course) in a picture frame. Use a dry-erase marker to mark students off of a list! Add a line at the top of the page to remind you what it is for. Field trip money, papers signed and returned, etc.
This is to remind me that maybe I can use blue painters tape to direct the kids to zig zag around the pool noodle cones. 10 really fun and simple ways to play with blue painter's tape. I especially love the balance beam while "fishing" idea!
Search magazines to find similar size features, (old, young, male, female) and glue them in the proper place. Your challenge is to add what is missing and pull the variety of magazine cutouts together with colored pencils to create a face.
painting like Michelangelo. Instead of just having sketching time- discover and study Michelangelo, how he hanged upside down while painting. This is also great for students struggling with fine motor hand writing. It builds strength in pincer grasp.

Try Wall Pop dry erase stickers on a table in your classroom! I use it for spelling work, small group instruction, and math time. They add a pop of color, too! I love this idea for my kiddie table for small groups!
