Jimi Hendrix on guitar & Juma Sultan on percussion behind Jimi on the right.  For Hendrix, it was the first time playing an almost two hour set outdoors. The first time he had performed in front of a large crowd with his new band which was called the "Gypsy Suns and Rainbows".  It was the first time old friends and fellow guitarists Larry Lee & Billy Cox performed in front of a crowd bigger than 1000, and it was the first time any of them had performed in the morning.
