My favorite season windows.

Favorite kind of weather instead of season!"Such a fun art and writing idea - have student write about their favorite season, then draw what they would see out their window in that season. They can then "hang curtains" on their window.

pick any object and portray it in the 4 seasons (tree, person, flower, landscape)

have the umbrella have a number on it on a board, hand each kid a few raindrops and then call up the number on the umbrella. say "who has 'one' raindrop" they will come up, find and place it on umbrella w matching number.

Hoe werkt het?

One of our favorite water cycle illustrations, especially for younger students. The image of the sun's rays reaching down to draw up water is a great way to represent evaporation. It highlights the driving force of the sun.

Walking in the rain craft

Eileens Class: Walking in the rain craft Use half a paper plate for the umbrella, finger paint raindrops, use scraps to make body.
