A good sense of humor is very important in the Dutch culture. we all like to laugh, and we don't like to be serious all the time. we do not only like humor in our spare time, but also for example when we are on school or at work. So do I, I really like working with funny people, and this is also a important value for me. (Joelle)
People from other coutries think that it always rains in the Netherlands. But of course this is not true. It just rains a lot, but not always. When it rains all the time, people will not cycle that much. So it doen't rain that much. I totally hate rain, I prefer the sun and good, warm weather. (Joelle)

eleven city skating tour, is something typical Dutch. Unfortunately I can't happen every year, because they have to cope with a minimum centimeters of ice to skate on. this ritual always takes place in Friesland, The Netherlands. I personally don't like ice skating but there are a lot of Dutch people who like doing this. I see this more as a ritual of the Netherlands than as a ritual for me, Personally. (Joelle)

The cow is a dutch symbol, because it relates to the famous dutch chees. The cow is also a typical Dutch animal, you will see those animals everywhere, in every whey. I live in a small town, where also many cows live.
