Geronimo Pratt (born Elmer Pratt), American veteran & Minister of Defense of the Black Panther Party. The FBI, in a COINTELPRO op, aimed to "neutralize him as an effective BPP functionary." He was tried & convicted of kidnapping & murder, spending 27 years in prison, 8 in solitary confinement; his conviction was then vacated.
