What is a gnome? Not many people have seen them because they are very shy and live in the woods. They are known only to live in Småland or maybe it is so that people only have seen them there. The felt pixies are decorated with embroidery, sewn together and filled with stuffing and plastic pellets. A beard from raw silk, a wooden bead for the nose and knitted tube for legs with socks and leg warmers. Attach wooden painted clogs.

So I faced an interesting challenge recently, which was to create a gnome with a watermelon theme. The end result looks a bit Christmassy, but I confess I’m still kind of pleased with it.
