Strolling through the forest near Doorn in The Netherlands. This part is called De Kaapse Bossen (The Cape Forest). It is called so because some of the previous owners were from South Africa. The forest reminded them of home. I did some post processing with Macphun Intensity.
I got a outdoor cooking workshop recently with some colleagues. That was a good moment to try some food photography. All that delicious food on the stoves Dutch ovens and in cooking pots over the fire asked to be photographed. In this photo you see mushrooms stuffed with mint and cream cheese.
This is fort Honswijk (Honswijk fortress). It is part of the Hollands he Waterlinie (Hollandic Water Line). The Hollandic Water Line was a series of water-based defences conceived by Maurice of Nassau in the early century.
