Cooking Real Food for Real People on Instagram: "My sister MaryAnn sent me this reel for this delicious treat by @basicswithbails last week by and said, “Di, you need to make these!” Now I’ve always made something very similar for the kids since they were small but I never thought to add the bananas to mine. I thought Baileys addition of the sliced bananas was ingenious and couldn’t wait to make them! These were so simple to do! Get some mini paper cupcake liners and layer a banana slice, a mini pretzel, a spoonful of your favorite peanut butter or almond butter, some melted chocolate and then sprinkle with a little Maldon salt. Bailey freezes hers to set them up, but I literally just set mine on my counter and they were set up in an hour. Easy and delicious, these make for a healthy and yummy snack. . ** for melting the chocolate, I use a makeshift double boiler which is basically just a bowl sitting over a pot of simmering water. Place your chocolate in the bowl and the heat of the simmering water melts the chocolate. Be careful not to get any water mixed in with the chocolate otherwise the chocolate will seize up. I like to add a couple of tbls of vegetable oil with the chocolate to make it extra smooth but feel free to leave that out. . . . #healthysnacks"
