Stovell on Instagram: "Repairing a water damaged chair. This was next to our bath and my naughty son couldn’t stop splashing water on it. The original seat was laminated veneers, which had been set with a curve. It was comfy but not very strong, and not remotely water resistant. Instead I went for solid wood carved to shape, not inherently water resistant but I used a hardwax oil finish (by fiddes) which will give it better protection. #joinery #chair #repair #hardwaxoil #fiddes #fiddeshar
