When it dries this will be one of our prettiest ever pub tables. 48" square top, 3 1/2" thick and chunky! The pedestal is a hand hewn 8"x10" post from a barn built in the 1800's. The base is wrapped with what we call "Jesse James" wood which is oak from an old tobacco barn once standing near the Jesse James farm outside of Kearney, MO.
These tall pub chairs look great, whether you have them sitting at a counter or pair them with a pub table (which we’ll show you in another project plan). Plus, the chairs are comfortable thanks to the shaped seat and angled back. Neither of these great features makes the chairs difficult to build. FREE PLANS at buildsomething.com
