When your iron’s soleplate looks gunky due to mineral buildup, you can easily clean it with a damp cloth and toothpaste. Make sure the iron is cool and unplugged and wipe the toothpaste cloth first, then wipe it with a second cloth.
Goodbye to Yellow Armpit Stains: one part Dawn dishwashing liquid + two parts hydrogen peroxide + some baking soda. Use a small laundry brush to work the mixture into the stain for a few minutes. Let sit for an hour or so then launder as usual.
