I wish every problem was as easy as a math problem. Life would be so much easier.

Like most of us, I have a variety of learners in my classroom. A few years ago, I began doing 'guided math,' which is very similar to guided reading. I introduce the math lesson as a whole class, then proceed with small group instruction while the remainder of the class does centers or independent work.
