Sillhouette Collage...Do their silhouettes and have them fill their heads with what's going on in their brain (what they like, think about, etc.). Can include writing assignment with the project.

Self Portrait Collage: "What is in Your Head?" Trace silhouettes, then fill in their head with a magazine collage of what is going on in their brain.

STUDENT NAME SCULPTURES~ Students draw the letters of their name on stiff paper such as Bristol board or card stock. Next, they decorate each letter with different types of lines/colors, and then cut out the letters. It takes problem solving skills to arrange the letters into a sculpture. Very cool!

Middle School - Students design a different font type for each letter of their name. They color the letters to reflect their personality and then cut out letters from bristol board and then turn into sculpture.

Cool, beginning of the year project, maybe even for my high school kids! :)

Love the unique decorations of these handprints! What a great "buddy" project to explore the idea of friendship in Judge Julie Truly. Each child will create on their level. They can take their handprints home.

Name in Graffiti style Could do large scale on mural paper and display on walls…
