Helene Bertha Amalie “Leni” Riefenstahl was a German film director, actress and dancer. Her most famous film was Triumph of the Will, a documentary film made at the 1934 congress in Nuremberg of the Nazi Party. Riefenstahl’s prominence in the Third Reich, along with her personal association with Adolf Hitler , destroyed her film career following Germany’s defeat in World War 2, after which she was arrested but released without any charges.
